Wide Search

New years eve in New York - this will match any event with a New or years or eve or York , each and every word individually

Narrow Search

"New years eve" in "New York" - this will match any event with a New years together or New York together. This way you will be able to find all the events in New York and all the New years in everywhere. Still may not be good enough

Narrowest Search

"New years eve in New York" - this will match any event with the entire word in it

Better Search

+"New Years" in +"New York" - Adding + ensures that the key word is in the event

Facet Search

At the bottom of each search result, there are links to further refine your search using pre-defined facets. Like city name, event category and the timeframe. You can click on those links to further filter your results. You can also use "AND" in your queries to narrow it down.

Tags or Folksonomy Search

The second row at the bottom of search result can be used to expand the result to tags. This expands your search and takes you into diferent events. You can also use the fields in the query like - "New York" tags:Party will find New York events tagged witht he word party
